HOW LONG DOES A NEWBORN SHOOT GO FOR?
1.5-3 hours

WHAT AGE DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH NEWBORNS?
Normally newborns are photographed within the first 16 days, but I have been able to do newborn shoots with 6 weeks olds.
We recommend trying to do it within the first 16 days.
WHEN IS IT BEST TO DO A MATERNITY PHOTOSHOOT?
We recommend doing the shoot between 32-36 weeks.
WHERE DO YOU DO MATERNITY SHOOTS?
We can do them in my indoor studio or outdoors in Olinda or Kilsyth.
DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?
Yes, a non-refundable booking fee of $50 needs to be paid to secure your booking.
HOW LONG WILL EDITING TAKE?
Editing usually takes 3 weeks. Once we have finished we will send you a link to your Private online gallery.
WILL MY CHOSEN IMAGES BE WATERMARKED?
No, chosen images will be in high resolution and will not be watermarked. Once you receive your gallery the watermark you see will disappear when
downloaded.
CAN I BUY EXTRA DIGITAL IMAGES OR PRINTS?
Yes, extra images can be purchased, please see price and packages for more information. Prints and products can also be purchased if you wish. You can see prices. .
WHERE SHOULD I PRINT MY IMAGES?
We offer prints and products printed from a professional printing lab that deals directly with photographers, you can see my prices on my prints page. However if you prefer to do them yourself you will need to find a great quality printing lab! The cheap chain store labs (Kmart, BigW, Officeworks etc) are a good low cost option for your snap shots, but the quality is not the same and it would be a shame to spend the money on your lovely photos and not print them with the same amount of love. The little extra cost is SO worth it!
In saying all this if you decide to print your images through someone other than myself, we cannot guarantee colour or quality.
Camera house in Croydon or Ringwood is somewhere that we find to be the best in the area. This company is only a few dollars more than Kmart but the quality is far superior. And best thing about them is you can order all while on your computer at home. No need to leave the house.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY NEWBORN SESSION?
BOOK NOW! We only take on a certain number of Mums due dates per month and we book out fast! We will pencil you in and once your baby is born, you need to let us know within a day or 2, then we will book you in with an exact date and time.
WHAT DAYS ARE OFFERED FOR NEWBORN SESSIONS?
Please Note: The days offered for your newborn shoot will be a weekday (not a weekend) and will be within the first 3 weeks after birth. The shoot will also take place early morning (about 9am) as babies sleep much better for the shoot at this time.
DO YOU WORK ON WEEKENDS?
Unfortunately, we only work a few weekends a year as I try to spend time with my own children during the weekend.
DO YOU TRAVEL OR DO IN-HOME SHOOTS?
No. We do not travel to people's homes for photography sessions, as lighting can be a big issue.
CAN I GET A COUPLE OF IMAGES WITH MY OTHER CHILDREN IN THE NEWBORN MINI PHOTOSHOOT PACKAGE?
No if you are after shots of siblings together, we recommend moving to the Gold or Platinum Packages.
ARE IMAGES OF SIBLINGS TOGETHER AND FAMILY IMAGES INCLUDED IN THE GOLD AND PLATINUM PACKAGES?
Yes, they are.
CAN I TAKE THE PRINT CREDIT OF MY BALANCE IF I DON'T WANT PRINTS?
No, sorry this is just an added bonus. It can only be used on prints for that photoshoot - If you choose to use it.
CAN I TAKE PHOTOS WITH MY PHONE WHILE YOU SHOOT?
No, I believe you are paying me to take the images so you can take the time in just enjoying the moment and watch how beautiful your children are.
WHAT DO WE WEAR?
We recommend starting with 1 outfit (we normally go with a dress) in autumn colours and then pull all the colours from this dress and match it with solid colours for a top and pants or even another dress but in a solid colour.
For example below is a photo of my children, I found Havana's outfit first then I pulled the orange, mustard, red and brown from it and dressed my boys.
